Preston Lodge pupils are last to visit Parliament this year

The last school visit to the Scottish Parliament of 2017 was by S5 and S6 Preston Lodge pupils, who were joined by the school’s debating team.

The pupils had the usual tour of Holyrood, followed by a question and answer session with Iain Gray MSP.

Speaking afterwards, Iain Gray MSP said:

“This year seems to have been a bumper one for visits to Parliament by local schools. I have enjoyed them all, including the vast range of questions the pupils have posed about parliament and my work.

“This group of PL pupils were particularly engaged and interested, which made it a great way to end the year. I’m looking forward to meeting many more groups of county pupils in 2018!”
