SCVO, the national umbrella body for Scotland’s voluntary sector, has launched an information hub on coronavirus for third sector organisations.
The online hub contains a wealth of information and resources including an FAQ section providing answers to some of the common questions the body is being asked by members.
It also contains information on funding, employment/HR, governance & risk, volunteers, remote working and resources, as well as the recently launched Community Assistance Directory.
Iain Gray MSP said:
“Local charities and community groups are working around the clock to provide support for individuals and communities during the COVID-19. Many of them are at the frontline of the response to this crisis but often do not have the same resources and infrastructure as other organisations.
“This hub is therefore a really important tool for third sector organisations looking for information and assistance during the coronavirus pandemic. Any charities and community groups in need of help or advice should certainly try the hub in the first instance.”
