Commenting on the announcement that East Lothian’s recycling centres will re-open on Monday 1st June, Iain Gray MSP said:
“I welcome the news that the county’s recycling centres will re-open on 1st June. It’s been a difficult couple of months for many people with garden waste building up and only one brown bin collection able to be made. However, the vast majority of local residents have been responsible and found ways to manage or store their waste until the centres re-open.
“Now they’re re-opening, it will be vital that those using the centres continue to act responsibly and abide by the stated requirements so that demand can be managed sensibly and staff and the public kept safe.”
